I’m Jen, the hands and heart behind Jenjems Jewelry. Born and raised in Sacramento, I’ve always been drawn to making things, bringing people together and finding beauty in the unexpected.
I’ve been making jewelry for as long as I can remember. Long before my creations had a name, I was making jewelry for friends, family and anyone who believed in my work. Over the years, what had always been a creative outlet slowly became something bigger. Encouraged by the people closest to me, I finally gave it a name: Jenjems
That name comes from one of the many nicknames my big brother gave me growing up. Out of the hundreds he dreamed up over the years, Jenjems was one of the few that actually stuck… and one of the only ones I liked.
Today, I handcraft limited-edition jewelry in sterling silver, copper, brass, and aluminum. Every piece begins with raw metal, a hammer, a torch, and an idea. My jewelry blends a little whimsy with rock ‘n’ roll energy, creating pieces that are meant to be worn, loved, and spark conversations.
I believe jewelry should be as individual as the person wearing it.
My hope is that every piece helps you show the world a little more of who you are. Whether it’s a pair of BIG ASS BOLTZ or your next everyday favorite, I hope it becomes part of your story.
What I love most isn’t just making jewelry, it’s the connections that come from it. Every market, every conversation, and every customer who becomes a friend reminds me why I started this journey in the first place. The best connections often begin with something made by hand.
When I’m not at my workbench, you’ll usually find me hosting maker markets through River City Marketplace, cheering on fellow artists, listening to live music, exploring the outdoors or trying to convince my tiny sidekick, Kismet, that she’s not actually in charge. (She disagrees.)
Every piece is made by hand with intention, a hammer, and probably a good playlist.
Thanks for being part of my story. I can’t wait to become part of yours.
